A Pleasing UnPlanned Outing..Alhamdulillah.

Oh Lalalalalalalalala……………… What a happy day !!!!

This morning Asma’ my dear blogger companion came to my house from Irbid. She came with another Asma’ , a bride to be that I mentioned in my previous entry . It was still early in the morning and I was preparing some breakfast as well as dishes for lunch when they ting-tong the doorbell.

It was a pleasure to have both Asma at my place and they helped me with the ‘malaysian burger’( doughnut with sambal ikan bilis stuffed inside ) as I cooked hot and spicy fish and fried shrimps. I had my beef soup rice ready early in the morning.

So, we had our brunch… kuih,rice,fish,shrimps,tea and apple juice all served on the table….

The girls came early to Amman because they had many other houses to go to distribute the wedding invitation cards . The kenduri will be on the 1st of September in Malaysia and for sure I won’t be able to attend it as I’ll only be going home on Sept the 4th, InsyaAllah.

I decided to join them to go to Sweileh as I haven’t been outside for almost a week ( busy entertaining guests ) . So, off we went at around 11am and our first house was Marwa’s who happens to be a friend of both Asma. There we were also joined by Ilyana who lives next door. Marwa served keropok, bananas, plain rice with chicken curry, fried eggs, guava juice, lemon tea , mango juice….yummy..the hubby cooked for us..he’s a great chef…Alhamdulillah.

After zohor we straight went to Ina’s house , another blogger ( Sweileh family ) just 3 minutes walking from Marwa’s house. They thought I brought the mempelai….I told them only the bride to be was with me…Again we were served …this time nasi tomato, sweet sour chicken , brinjal dalca, watermelon and tea.…Woww… third time heavy meals of the day..Alhamdulillah.

Then we decided to go to the MSD attaché’s house but only the wife was at home. We took 2 cabs as ina, ilyana dan marwa also joined the JJCM club…after chatting for some time, there we were again….EATING…… bubur kacang, strawberry cream cake, kuih ketayap, some biscuits and cold drinks….. the food was so yummy….Bonda , as the students here call the attache’s wife ( the attaché is called Ayahanda ) is known with her superb cooking skills and she never fails to serve any guests with her sumptuous delicacies….

We took leave at 5.20pm and both Asma headed back to Irbid and they’ll start their summer semester tomorrow. Good Luck to both of you !!

The unplanned outing turned up very pleasing and exciting, Alhamdulillah.

Thank you Ina, Ilyana , Salmah ( Bonda )and Marwa for being my inspiring friends here in Amman.Even though we seldom meet each other but the warm and thoughtful moments we have each time we meet will always flourish in my mind, InsyaAllah.

To my dearest longtime blogger, Asma Muhd Haslan (nurazzah’s daughter ), it’s such a wonderful feeling to have spent a day with you here, hope to see you again in the near future, InsyaAllah.
