dulang hidangan 'mansaf' ...makanan tradisi arab jordan
pakaian tradisi pasangan pengantin arab secara umum...
pakaian tradisi wanita dari Jerusalem
pakaian tradisi wanita dari Bethlehem
pakaian tradisi penjual 'syai' (tea )
aktiviti tradisi kaum wanita di rumah
antara aktiviti tradisi kaum lelaki
Sememangnya budaya sesuatu bangsa banyak berubah mengikut arus pembangunan setempat....
Sejauh mana kita semua mengetahui budaya bangsa sendiri ????????????

Hi Loveujordan, wow! I love the photos you have here.
Come to think of it, I have never been to our museum here in Toronto.
Am surprised they allow you to snap pics there.
You know, I read every word of your posts and try to pick up my Bahasa where possible.
I do understand 45%, but some words escape me, so I read the whole sentence, then ahhh, I get your meaning.
You keep well, Loveujordan. Best regards, UL.
Hello LUJ
Very nice photos and interesting. I have the same thoughts as U.Lee - they allowed you to take pictures in a museum? Most places that I have been to, they ban cameras. I am too afraid to even try, look around and you see their close circuit cameras everywhere spying on you. hehe
It is a good question you asked in the end (if I got my BM correctly), how much do we know of our own culture?
I am still yet to learn more about my own race - Eurasians in Malaysia.
Uncle Lee,
Ha... I torture you with my BM entry...45% not bad at all...
So far only these two museums are allowed to snap photos.... others , no chance at all...not only cameras are not allowed, chatting and commenting to each other are also forbidden....

Yep, you got it right, that's the question that I haven't been able to answer ... All I know, my 'royal' blood came from kampar, sumatera long time ago, my original race and my culture are still a big ?????

masih terkenang saat kita sama-sama masuk museum tu. U pergi lagi ke? I paling suka gambar anak pak Arab yg kita ambik kat pakcik jual Shai tu...
anak2 saya lebih suka melawat tempat2 terbuka. jadi jaranglah masuk museum.
bagi saya agaknya, mungkin lebih sesuai cari sejarahnya di internet sahaja :(
Hi RINA.
One of my hobbies is to visit museums. Remember when you were in the States. I don't know about DC, but the place I was at, Norfolk, there were a lot of private museums. I'd spend my time going from one museum to another over a span of time. Prefer to be all by myself as I'd take time to spend on any subjects that I love.
Anyway, those are nice pics. It tells a story by itself.
Tah ler...den setakat muzium kat M'sia nie tak suka masuk..tapi suka tgk muzium2 luar negara...
Hmmmm ... sometimes bila di negara orang, kita excited sangat nak visit museums and such places, tapi yang di sini, kita tak berapa minat. Kenapa ye? Maybe yang foreign tu nampak (and rasa) macam lebih interesting kot (sebab something new). Seronoklah tengok all the pictures and reading about all your visits. Beruntung you :-)
d,
eeehh lama dah tak jalan, anak-anak sekolah, belum cuti lagi... ni gambar lama pergi dengan hubby ....dia yang belum pergi museum ni lagi, akak dah dekat sepuluh kali pergi.... asalkan ada kawan /orang datang akak pergi bawak diorang jalan..
+++++++++++++++++
zakiah,
akak pun memang nak 'lena' jugak melawat museum tapi kalau anak-anak especially zaid and sumayyah memang minat sangat, berejam-jam tak pe kalau duduk dalam museum..

nurazzah8,
ha ah comel betul budak arab tu...
I dah banayk kali pergi museum ni, rom teater memang my favourite outing spot...gambar ni masa pergi dengan hubby masa dia balik baru ni..ni 'first' time dia masuk selpas kali pertama dulu masa datang ziarah jordan 1995.....
mama sarah,
memang betul cakap you..anak-anak kecil memang kurang sesuai melawat museum, silap-silap kena marah sebab buat bising...kalau masuk museum yang banyak artifacts lama lagilah naya....
++++++++++++
hi gab,
I kurang minat museum ni, tapi kat DC tu hampir semua museum habis round , remember di Smithsonian.. many museums..waktu anak dara situlah selalu nya ronda-ronda , kebanyakannya dengan Fina sebab dia ada kereta(tumpang senang .. hehehe ) ... then I remember kitaorang dibawa melawat textile museum kat area Massachusett Avenue(tak jauh dari embassy dulu tu, now embassy dah pindah tempat baru )... boringnya museum tu, dahlah kena bayar sebab private museum, masuk tengok kain je (nama pun textile museum ).
btw, anak sulung hazih is coming to amman end of June, further studies here.
nbk466,
I pun sama , museum yang kat malaysia, kat terengganu tu tak pernah jejak kaki langsung, anak-anak pergi melawat ikut sekolah buat rombongan...kat luar negara pun, museum tu kira yang akhir-akhir (lepas puas shopping, dah habis duit) baru lah kalau nak jengah pun...kurang minat...
++++++++++++++
QOTH,
betullah tu agaknya, banyak benda yang baru bagi kita, kat malaysia , biasa je semua..tapi tulah bila ada peluang kat negara orang kalau tak melawat rugilah pulak rasanya ...
True, museum is a good place to get to know a country:)
ade org nak resepi falafel ke..huhu...saye adela aunty..
hazia,
